In collaboration with PINA

We carry stories through our personal and shared histories – what can happen in the space between the story we receive and the story we tell?
A two part workshop hosted by Rose Choreographic School and commissioned by Pina to explore storytelling as a form of knowledge transmission the stories we inherit, encounter and pass on the body as a site of memory, feeling and knowledge the gestures, frequencies and connections through which stories are shared the space between what is told, what is heard and what is imagined and its transformation through relation in space.
Using movement, voice, writing, sound, objects and improvisation, participants experiment with different ways of receiving and transmitting stories, playing with the physicality and materiality of written language.
